Spring is magical.  It speaks to me more than Christmas and even Easter.  It tells the story so loudly, it proclaims the promise so bluntly.  What was dead is alive.  What is dead will be made alive.  Beauty breaks through year after year and promises summer.  Promises Eden.  What is wrong will be put back right.  The sin that has ravished and choked our earth and our relationships will be unraveled.

Weeping may last for a night but a shout of joy comes in the morning. Ps 30:5

The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing...to find the place where all the beauty came from." CS Lewis

We are soaking it up, sucking the marrow.  Looking for the daily bread in the midst of pain.  In the face of "we were made for more".   Confident "...the promise is not vain, that morn shall tearless be."

O Joy that seekest me thru pain,
I can not close my heart to Thee;
I trace the rainbow through the rain,
And feel the promise is not vain
That morn shall tearless be,
That morn shall tearless be.
